Creating Your Own Definition Of Success With Esmeralda Rodriguez

Published

on

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Esmeralda Rodriguez who is a Marketing Strategist and Online Business Coach, to discuss her upbringing.

Here is what she had to say:

When was the first time you tasted success Esmeralda?

Success is so subjective. I feel successful when I volunteer, when I donate to charity, ect, but if we are talking about mainstream success; I guess I can say I first felt it when I made my first 3K online. I worked really hard all of my life to make a decent salary and when I made my first 3k online one month, I was over the moon. That is when I realized that we don’t necessarily need to trade our time for money. It is all about delivering real value and putting out good vibes to the world.

That is so cool congrats! So, what is your end goal?

I have so many goals and I don’t think there is ever an ending to our journey and learning, but I would love to travel the world again, but this time with the intention of helping aspiring women entrepreneurs by putting together workshops, events, and meetups where we can come together and share skills, knowledge, experiences, and a glass of wine!

What an awesome goal to work towards! So, why do you want to be successful and what’s your ultimate vision of success for yourself?

I want to be successful because I have a deep fear (and hard to admit) of dying average. I’ve done a lot that others might translate as “success”: Traveled the world, have a Master’s degree, making money online; but for me, it’s bigger than what it on paper. I want to create massive impact and build a community of women who are confident, self-reliant, and wake up everyday living the life they were meant to live.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences! Do you have any last pieces of advice for the readers?

Don’t settle for ordinary, give yourself permission to live an extraordinary life! Be authentic and question everything. We live in a changing world, so you can help create better changes.  You only get one shot at this quick life so live and do whatever you want because we don’t get another round. How would you live your life if you were guaranteed success?

How Beauty influencer Melina Taj has Collaborated with Leading Brands Like Swarovski, Bobbi Brown and Several Others

Published

on

How has the beauty industry revolutionized so much you ask? Well it has, thanks to the likes of pro-influencers like Melina Taj. Just half a decade ago, the beauty and makeup industry was hidden and unexplored. It was limited to high-paid models only, featuring ‘already popular’ products for TV ads. The entire marketing space itself was restricted to a privileged few.

From then to now

Influencer marketing is shaping the future of beauty branding, and the internet has been a crucial contributor to this growth. Today, celebrity makeup brand launches are relying on independent beauty influencers to market their products and spread the word. This shift has not been easy, but now fortunately we are heading to a more balanced platform for the beauty industry. This has occurred due to the contributions of influencers like Melina Taj.

In a tête-à-tête with Melina Taj, we unveiled her journey on becoming an established beauty influencer, with over 1.4m followers in a short span of 3 years. Melina began her journey in the fashion industry in 2015 as she shooted with clothing and fashion magazines. She has also done TV ads for Dafy wet wipes, broadcasted across radio and television networks. In addition, she has acted in a cameo role for the climax of Avaye Baran TV series which is broadcast on the Channel 3 of Iran TV.

Since 2017, she began making exclusive Instagram videos for beauty product reviews and homemade beauty makeovers. “Ever since I started uploading IG content, my only aim has been to bring an insightful review of worthy products to my followers. With so many products around us, choosing the right one for our skin tone can be a challenge. At the same time, we look for trustworthy products that will enhance our skin. My first ever review for a famous brand, was for Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. From then on I have reviewed many small and large inspirational brands.

Where did it all start?

“I have always been interested in makeup and intrigued by its ability to uplift one’s self-confidence. I’ve been a professional makeup artist for many years, and when I started sharing my reviews on Instagram, it was great to see how so many people were appreciating such honest reviews. A lot of women find it difficult to go outdoors frequently for a makeover or for skin treatments. They were looking for homemade makeup solutions with simple ingredients. I received many questions regarding smaller details of makeup application, which many famous beauty reviews didn’t include. So, this was the need I intended to fulfil with my knowledge.” With time, Melina’s makeup tutorials and homemade masks have gained immense popularity.

Owing to her unique and consistent content on social media, Melina was invited to give a talk on beauty marketing in the first Iranian Beauty Conference, as the most influential Iranian beauty influencer. Acknowledging her success, she was awarded with a Master of Makeup degree from the French Makeup Studio and was also invited to work with them. She conducted several makeup master classes with some renowned artists such as Samer Khuzami and similar. It was not long before collaborations and events with stellar brands like Swarovski, NARS, Bobbi Brown came along the way. Taj also held a successful beauty master class in Istanbul, Turkey with prominent sponsors like Victoria’s Secret, Huda Beauty, Benefit Cosmetics, NYX Professional Makeup, Clarins, Tarte Cosmetics and similar.

Melina accredits her success to the warm and intimate relationship that she has nurtured with her followers. “I love to share little beauty tricks that have worked for me. It’s all about simplifying the complex. If you have an expertise, share it in the most humble way, and you will see how new doors open for you. I believe in this quote by Richard Bach, “You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true.”

An Exclusive Interview with Actor Bahadır Ünlü

Published

on

Building a stellar reputation as a notable movie star is no easy task. Finding success as an actor is a long, arduous path, where many do not succeed. Still, some persevere and surmount impossible odds to realize their dreams and make a name for themselves. Turkish actor Bahadir Ünlü started from humble beginnings and is now a leading actor in the middle east and beyond. In this interview, Bahadir talks about his journey, career, and prospects.

Bahadir, could you more about how you began your career and became a leading actor?

I started my career with no support what so ever. I have faced a lot of challenges in the beginning. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I kept going. It is essential to value every opportunity that crosses your path. You never know where it may lead you. I stayed positive and continued working in advertisements, commercials, and small budget movies. I got my break in 2003, in a movie called “Aquarium,” which was a joint project between Iran and Turkey. From that point on, there was no looking back. Over the years, I’ve worked in several Turkish, English, and German movies as well as TV series. People must remember that there is no shortcut to success. If you stay focused and chase your dreams, you will indeed achieve the same.

What made you want to become an actor?

Acting has always been my passion. I grew up in awe of the power that entertainment possessed. I wanted to be an actor because it is an art-form that enables you to touch millions of lives. I wanted to spread positivity, hope, and humor through being an actor. I wanted to live a life froth with adventure. Acting served as a conduit for me to explore new countries, meet new people, experience new cultures, and expand my horizons. Today, I have achieved my childhood dream, and I am grateful to my fans for their love and support. I am receiving appreciation for my art as an actor, which is the highest form of gratification.

Bahadir, what are your plans for the future

I have had a long and fulfilling career thus far. I wish to push my limits as an actor and director. There are several international projects in the pipeline, and I am looking forward to them the most. It will allow me to explore new roles, opportunities, and a chance to connect with a whole new audience. I firmly believe that there is always room to learn, improve, and grow, and so this will continue to be my driving force in the future.

How Claytonisokay’s Music is Bringing About Positive Societal Change

Published

on

Have you ever wondered why today’s music is so awful? Most of the songs are full of vulgar content, and center on sex, relationships, or wealth. The commonality of such songs makes most people wonder if today’s music tracks are meaningful at all. Recently, Science confirmed this suspicion. Research showed that pop music has gotten worse over the years.

Still, it would be unwise to say all music is terrible. Out of the sea of poor content, there are still some artists who work hard to produce great music. Billy Miller AKA Claytonisokay is one of the artists who are at the forefront of creating quality music. Claytonisokay recently released an album dubbed Overlooked Stories. We talked to Miller about his music, including its purpose and its story.

About Claytonisokay

Claytonisokay has been in music from an early age. At age 5, he was familiar with playing the violin and knew much about rhythm/harmony. Claytonisokay started writing lyrics on his own during school class. When he was a teenager, he was kicked out of school and had to attend transfer school. The transfer school exposed him to a world that he didn’t know existed. As a child from the middle class, Claytonisokay was blessed to have parents who provided him with a solid place to live, food on the table, and a supportive atmosphere. When he went to Transfer school, he saw that other people didn’t have the same thing. The transfer school exposed him to the reality of social inequality. “Going through what I was going through at the time with having to leave my high school and just things in my personal life, I turned to music as an outlet,” he says.

One of Claytonisokay’s friends, who was also a musician, took him to a studio. “I rapped the lyrics I had written over a youtube beat I felt fit the vibe. Looking back, I laugh whenever I listen to it, but I’ve progressed since then. I taught myself how to play guitar when I was 17, and now I make songs of all different kinds, ranging from hip-hop like Overlooked Stories to indie/psychedelic rock,” says Miller.

Miller’s songs are not limited to any genre. Why? Because he has mastered the art of creating a fusion of beats and developing his lyrics.

Using Music to Tell Stories

Claytonisokay uses his music to tell stories. The music makes listeners aware of the world around them, particularly the world that they don’t want to see. The key themes explored in his music are poverty, love-lost, greed, loneliness, the pains of growing up. Still, the music is not all negative. Claytonisokay takes these themes and turns them into self-reflective stories.

Claytonisokay also uses his music to create awareness of the prevalence of Lyme disease. The disease affects about 300,000 annually. What’s more, the economic burden of the disease is presently at 1.3 billion dollars. Although the condition affects thousands of lives, research, and funding on the treatment of the disease remains relatively low. Claytonisokay believes that Lyme disease deserves equal financing, similar to other conditions. He also believes that there is a need for awareness to enlighten people on the disease’s seriousness. As such, the proceeds from his album go to the support of the Lyme Disease Association.

Overlooked Stories reflects the musician’s experiences while in transfer school. It was while in school that he saw people who went through experiences revolving around poverty and violence. He observed that the rich did nothing to address the issues of poverty and violence. This experience is what led him to create the album. The album (Overlooked Stories), discusses the overlooked stories in the society as well as themes of greed, poverty, loneliness, love lost, etc.,

Final Thoughts

Claytonisokay’s music has depth. This music makes people more aware of the world around them, the world they don’t want to see. The raw truth in his lyrics made it difficult for him to get his music out there. Still, the hard work paid off when he completed his album. The album creates awareness of Lyme disease. His music also looks at issues such as poverty, the pains of growing up, love-lost, greed, and loneliness. If you are looking for quality music that informs, then this album is must-have.

There is no doubt that Claytonisokay represents a new breed of musicians. These are musicians who are not blind to the issues plaguing society. Instead, they use their music to change the narrative in the community, thereby bringing about social change.
